Project Spotlight: Rosemead High School
The City of El Monte, in collaboration with El Monte High School District, Sport Court Southern California, and Sports West Construction, declares the grand unveiling of a multi-use court at Rosemead High School in Rosemead, California.
This court unveiling is vital to the school's academia. It ensures that students have access to top-tier amenities to support their physical well-being and sporting endeavors.
Highlights
Surface Prep: We began by power washing three existing basketball courts and performing an acid wash on 30 square feet of bare concrete to prepare the surfaces for resurfacing.
Crack Repair: Addressing structural integrity, we meticulously repaired cracks and removed existing material in expansion joints before filling 1,004 linear feet with self-leveling caulk, ensuring a smooth and durable surface.
Central to our renovation efforts was the installation of over 11,000 square feet of our PowerGame+ modular sports flooring.
Powergame Plus has a patented, shock-absorbing grid understructure. That, combined with low skin abrasion compared to traditional concrete or asphalt courts, ensures safe gameplay for years to come.
Court Resurfacing: The third court received our acrylic coating surface, providing versatile spaces for recreational play.
Custom Logos
Adorning the center of the court is a striking 12-foot center circle logo, serving as a tribute to the school mascot and the history of Rosemead High School. A visual focal point for athletes and spectators alike.
Game Lines
Catering to the diverse interests of the student body, our game lines are placed in line with each other, creating an aesthetic feel for the courts.

- One set of black Volleyball Game Lines
- Three sets of red pickleball lines, matching the key and border.
