Project Spotlight: Central Park Pickleball Courts
In fall 2024, Sport Court West proudly partnered with the City of South Salt Lake to deliver the Central Park Pickleball Courts surfacing project at Central Park, reinforcing our role as Utah’s leading sport court specialist.
Project Scope - Central Park Pickleball Courts
Located at 2797 South 200 East in South Salt Lake, the project involved a complete resurfacing of existing pickleball courts, totaling approximately 4,600 square feet. Our team installed our signature SportGame PB modular surface system, designed specifically for pickleball performance and safety. This vibrant, durable surface was selected in a standard color palette by the City of Salt Lake and enhanced with competition-level court striping and integrated transition strips for gate entries.
- Site preparation: grinding high spots, cleaning, and filling surface cracks and depressions to meet Sport Court base standards.
- Demolition and pole replacement: removing existing net posts, salvaging where possible, and filling old sleeves with concrete.
- Equipment installation: surface-mounted Dominator net systems for each court.
- Surfacing installation: full-court SportGame PB surface with UV-resistant color and striping system tailored for high playability.
Throughout the project, we followed strict municipal and environmental compliance standards and Sourcewell pricing structures for products and installations.
